Elliot Sands brings over two decades of leadership experience to his role as chief operating officer of SHP Foundation in Palo Alto, California. In this role, he provides all operational support for the group's core projects, which focus on providing housing for individuals dealing with financial insecurity and/or homelessness. Elliot Sands' main responsibilities at the private foundation include managing project budgets and timelines.
In addition to his work at SHP Foundation, Mr. Sands holds a leadership position at CirrusMD, Inc., a Denver-based company he co-founded in 2012. He created the vision and direction of CirrusMD, which strives to break down barriers between patients and doctors. He has also managed the administrative and operational tasks for the telehealth company, including those related to accounting and finance and employee onboarding.
Prior to launching his career, Elliot Sands earned a bachelor's degree in religious studies from Westmont College. He later went on to earn an master of business administration from San Jose State University and a master of divinity from Western Seminary. Beyond his day-to-day professional activities, Mr. Sands serves as a board member for Missions Door, a Christian mission organization that oversees a range of projects worldwide.
